I am particularly interested, as a retired psychoanalytic psychotherapist in the unconscious mind. My aim in painting is to try and realise, in pictorial form, images from my imagination. I try to use artistic mediums which are suitable to express these images, for example, dream images seem often best expressed in unreal odours such as pink and black. I like to use a variety of mediums but am most comfortable in acrylics and oils, but I began life as a watercolour painter and I still regard watercolours as the best way to express light through water in landscapes.

Subject matter have varied but recently, I have painted a series of images in yellows and reds which represent life on another planet. Waterfalls have also figured prominently in my imagination recently and are represented in these examples.
